Update

I haven't had enough time to write in my blog recently, because I've been absorbed in practicing playing the electronic organ.

Several days ago, my wrists and thumbs began to hurt, and I realized that I had been spending too much time playing the musical instrument. So, I'm forcing myself to do something else in my spare time, such as reading books, listening to CDs, and studying more about the organ pieces I've been practicing. Searching for the lyrics of the chorale, Meinen Jesum laß' ich nicht, I came across a wonderful website that has the original lyrics and their English translation, and this is the link to the website: Bach Cantatas Website.

I've downloaded and printed the lyrics of some of my favorite chorales. I'm going to study the lyrics, and learn some German words, while waiting for my hands to heal.

Chicken Thigh Teriyaki

About five years ago, several month before she passed away, my mother found this recipe in a free magazine that a bank clerk had given her.

She liked the recipe, and told it to me while we were talking on the phone.

Since then, I've loved this tasty, easy-to-make chicken thigh teriyaki.

To make the teriyaki, we need about 1 pound of chicken thigh, 4 tablespoons of soy sauce, and 2 tablespoons of honey.

Put all the ingredients in a plastic bag, and rub the soy sauce and the honey into the chicken.

Let stand for at least an hour, and grill it until done.

#A to Z Challenge

I'm going to take part in Blogging from A to Z April (2017) Challenge.

I've been blogging for more than a decade, and I've participated in the April Challenge three times before. To tell the truth,  I've been a kind of tired of blogging recently. There are other things I'm more interested in. I've deleted all of my previous blogs. Last month, I was wondering if I should delete this one, too.

Somehow, however, thinking of this challenge seems to have rekindled my love for blogging, and I've found myself posting the participation badge here. I hope I'll be able to complete the challenge.
